I don’t know how many people actually see this blog, but I’m going to put this out there just in case anyone comes across this that might have questions.
First Aid Brisbane is doing everything possible to stay within regulations while keeping all clients safe.
We have restricted our class sizes to 8 people, restructured our course to minimize contact between participants, and been sanitizing our facility by doing the following:
- Disinfecting the facility daily
- Door handles
- Kitchen and bathroom
- Test sheets
- Misc. course materials/aids
- Mannequins will not be shifted between participants
- Exercises requiring interaction between participants is modified to avoid physical contact
- Extra space between participants
Please be aware that any participants exhibiting signs of sickness on their course date will be asked to reschedule and be sent home. If you are sick, please call before your course so we can reschedule you without potentially exposing others—Even if it’s just a cold, it would be best to attend a different course date when you are feeling better.
Due to our restricted class sizes, First Aid Brisbane will be offering more LVR, CPR, and Advanced Resuscitation courses where available Unfortunately due to the time required to complete them, we cannot offer more First Aid, Remote First Aid, or Advanced First Aid courses.
We will continue running our courses for as long as possible but will follow all regulations placed by the government. Should we be required to close down before your course can be completed, you will be contacted to sort out payment, credit, or transfer of your course.
Please be understanding in this trying time as we try to fulfill our obligations to our clients while keeping everyone safe.
