Again, not sure how many people read this, but I’ll be writing this down just in case.
First Aid Brisbane is currently amending the Terms and Conditions during this time.
Our booking policy has always stated that fees are involved with cancelling or transferring your course to another day. But due to the increased costs of operation in order to keep everyone safe and exposing our trainers to many people, it is now $35 to cancel your course and this change will last for the foreseeable future.
You can still call in 2 days before your course to transfer to another date or even put your course on hold until all this virus stuff blows over, but that standard $20 fee still applies (higher fees apply if you call within 2 days of, the day of, or after your course).
Please understand that we are doing our best to make sure everyone is safe and risking our staff’s health, and that’s going to raise our costs of operation. We ask that you be absolutely sure you can attend the course before reserving one of the limited spots of your desired course. Unfortunately, we’ve had several people reserve places, resulting in us turning other people away, only for them to cancel and request a refund.
We know that this is a trying time and that some situations are unpredictable, but we also have bills to pay and families to look after and we are trying our best to help and accommodate everyone involved.
In the event that First Aid Brisbane is to be shut down, people booked onto future courses will be contacted and cancellations, transfers, and/or postponement will be discussed at that time.
We hope that everyone stays safe. Remember to mindfully practice social distancing, or better yet, just stay at home unless absolutely necessary.
Thank you for your understanding.
