Unfortunately, we’re going to talk about this again.
Please wear your mask and wear it properly. First Aid Brisbane will not be doing business with anyone who does not adhere to the Queensland mask restriction policies. Not only is it for our safety, but yours as well.
According to the official Queensland Government website, masks must be worn outside of your home at all times unless:
- You are alone or with members of your household in your car
- You are eating or drinking
- You are at your usual workplace and can physically distance from others (except if you work in hospitality or transportation industries)
- You are alone or with members of your family outdoors
- It is unsafe to wear a mask
Even if these cases apply, you must resume wearing your face mask immediately once the situation permits (i.e. after your done eating or when you get out of your car).
Please remember that masks must be worn properly over the nose and mouth and please refrain from touching your mask as you wear it.
Some people have been arrested for refusing to wear a mask in public spaces and, I don’t know about you, but the $206 fine on the website also does not sound fun either.
While masks are in place to keep everyone safe, please stay home if you feel unwell in any way (not just COVID symptoms), have recently been diagnosed with COVID-19, or have recently visited a COVID-19 hotspot.
First Aid Brisbane will also operate with a valid QR code used to sign in upon arrival for COVID contact tracing.
These rules are for everyone’s safety, and not just the people you come into direct contact with. People’s families and friends could be exposed without you ever having to meet them and vice versa.
Stay safe, wash your hands, and please wear a mask.
