This
course applies to a range of industries where
qualified first aiders need to be
available
for each
work shift.
The course takes into account the hazards
and likely injuries for the particular
industry.
It is relevant
for personnel who are
the designated first aiders,
particularly
those working in manufacturing,
construction or mining or any
occupation involving hazardous
work.

Course Content
This
course deals with the provision
of advanced first aid response,
life support,
management of casualty's),
the incident and other first aiders,
until the arrival
of medical or other assistance, and provision
of support to other providers.
It includes the content of HLTFA404B

Advanced Resuscitation
Techniques. It
also addresses
the establishment and
maintenance of facilities to enable
or facilitate the provision of appropriate
first aid in the workplace.
It includes:
